Privacy Policy

1. About us and this Privacy Policy

www.artrunner.com and www.artrunner.co.uk (collectively known as “ArtRunner”) is a website controlled and operated by Art Runner Limited, Suite 7B and 7C, York House, 353A Station Road, Harrow, UK. Company number 06191139. This Privacy Policy explains what personally identifiable information is collected and recorded about you during your visit to ArtRunner and what we do with that information. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully because by using the website you are deemed to have consented to this Privacy Policy.

2. Children

Many areas of the website can be accessed without the need to provide any personally identifiable information. However, if a user wants to participate in certain interactive activities on the website, whether at present or in the future (for example, prize draws, making an offer for artwork and form filling etc), he or she will have to register and provide us with certain personally identifiable information, such as their name and email address. If the person who registers indicates that he or she is under [18], we will take one of two steps:
• collect no information from that individual; or
• collect the e-mail address of the user and the user's parent or guardian in order to seek the parent or guardian's verifiable consent to their child's online activities. Even where a parent’s or guardian’s consent has been obtained, we do not collect more personally identifiable information from their child than is reasonably necessary for that child to participate in a particular online activity. Parents or guardians may review and/or cancel their child’s registration (where the child is under [18]) at any time by emailing their request to justask@artrunner.com.

3. The information we collect and how we collect it

We also record additional information that you provide to us as a result of your use of the website. This includes, for example, information provided in the context of online registration, email enquiries, prize draws, competitions, discussion forums and chat rooms, searches and preferences, surveys, polls, future good purchases. The type of information that we collect via the website includes: your first name and family name, website user name and password, email address, postal address, telephone number, details about you and details about your artwork. In the future, you may be given the opportunity to submit information about other people via the website for the purposes of, for example, recommending and/or rating art. This includes, for example, their email address. You must obtain permission from such other people before you submit their information to us.
